Monty’s Brewery was founded in 2009 by husband-and-wife team Russ and Pam Honeyman, and since then they have established Monty's as one of the leading breweries in Wales.

In 2024, the brewery received a major investment from Ubunto Business Holdings, with plans to expand the facility. Producing real ales of many styles, with a focus on gluten-free beers, the brewery prides itself on its award-winning range. Brewing a beer everyone can enjoy.

• Water: Refined cleaning regimens cut down on chemicals and rinse water.

• Energy: Extra insulation in our temperature rooms maximizes heat recovery.

• Plastic: Pallet collars replace shrink wrap, and our online order packaging is 100% plastic-free.

🔄 Reuse

• Cardboard: We re-badge and reuse boxes whenever possible.

• Casks: Filled, shipped, returned, cleaned, and repeated.

♻️ Recycle

• Materials: All glass, plastic, and leftover cardboard get recycled.

• Grain to Milk: Local dairy cows turn our spent, protein-rich grain into milk.

• Beer to Beef: Excess yeasty beer is fed to a local herd of Wagyu cattle. (They love a pint and a nap!)

💎 Recover

• Ingredients: Leftover product is upcycled into gin, chutney, puddings, and beef jerky.

• Heat: Hot water is captured and reused for cleaning or the next brew.
