Multi award winning Golden, Hoppy, Floral ale 4.2%	Copper, Traditional, Malty 4.0%


Monty's MPA is dry and lightly hopped Pale Ale with a grapefruit aroma and a hint of lycheee.	Multi award winning dark creamy stout, full of dark fruit and roasted malt flavours.


Manjana is a nut brown bitter with malt character, well supported by a hop bitterness.	A golden strong bitter, refreshing and easily quaffable for a 5% ale. An award winning bitter.

Monty’s Brewery is proud to be the first brewery in Montgomeryshire since the Eagle Brewery closed in the 1980’s. The owner and head brewer, Pam Honeyman is one of only a handful of brewsters (female brewer) in the UK.Monty’s aim is to provide quality real ales and excellent service to all our customers.Proudly serving Montgomeryshire and the borders since January 2009!

Monty's is now exporting, we have recently sent beer out to Norway, and soon we will have another country to announce.

With all this extra bottling we have installed a new bottling plant at the Brewery.

The Sportsman, our brewery tap has been nominated CAMRA pub of the year in the Montgomeryshire area. Well done Mel and the team!

The Great Taste Awards 2012

In 2011 Sunshine won Two Gold Stars at the Great Taste Awards. This is our flagship beer, so to get this accolade was a real thrill. In 2012 we thought we would test how some of our other beers would perform under this intense scrutiny and we are doubly thrilled with the results;

Midnight, our 4% dark smooth creamy stout has been awarded Two Gold Stars "Exquisite"

Mischief, our 5% strong golden bitter has been awarded One Gold Star "Virtually Faultless"

Monty's brewery in partnership with Hophouse Inns now manages The Sportsman in Newtown, The Abermule, Abermule and The Red Lion in Caersws.

Monty's Midnight is now on draught. We have kegged our multi-award winning stout to make it even more smooth, but still packed with rich dark roasted coffee flavours. Taste it and let us know your thoughts!

Monty’s Brewery managed to secure the talents of Miss England finalist Amy Willerton to promote their Award winning Monty’s Mischief.

Monty’s Mischief is a strong golden bitter with initial punches of hops on the pallet, subtle malt character aftertaste, refreshing and easily quaffable for a 5% ale. It is a SIBA 2011 regional award winner, getting a bronze in the strong bitters category at Ludlow in the Wales and West competition. Everyone loves a little bit of Mischief !
