Making A Purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our online shop, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Order" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order. By law you must be 18 years old or older to use this site to purchase alcohol. We only deliver to customers within the UK.

Availability
We endeavour to keep all our products in stock. In the unlikely event of a product being out of stock, we will email you with the option to cancel your order, change the selected product, or wait for it to come into stock, and of course provide a timescale.

Shipping And Handling
Delivery is included for shipping clothing and other merchandise, shipping on bottles and bag-in box is calculated by weight at time of order. We deliver to the majority of mainland UK, some parts of Scotland are excluded or have a higher delivery charge. Please read the list below for details. Next working day delivery is made via Courier where possible on Monday to Friday for bag-in-box and bottles. However we ask that you allow 3-5 working days for delivery. You will receive an email when your order has been dispatched. Clothing is made to order and shipped by Royal Mail. Please allow 28 days for delivery. All other merchandise is delivered by Royal Mail.
We aim to maintain this timescale as a general guide, but cannot be held responsible for circumstances beyond our control.
A signature from an adult, aged 18 or over, is required by the Courier on delivery. Couriers can deliver to an alternative address if provided upon receipt of order. If there is nobody in when the courier arrives they will leave a card for you to contact them to arrange redelivery. If they haven't been contacted within three days they will return the goods to us. We can then arrange for redelivery but this will incur an additional delivery charge.
We are currently unable to deliver to Northern Ireland, The Republic of Ireland, the Isle of Man, The Isle of White, The Channel Islands, Alderney, Hern, Sark, and remote areas of Scotland. Parts of Mainland Scotland may have an increase in delivery charges. You will be notified of this by email.

Back Orders
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Tax Charges
For orders made from the UK 20% VAT is added. All our prices are quoted as Duty Paid.

Credit Card Security
We know of no documented cases of credit card fraud using our shopping system over the Internet. All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

Privacy Policy
Monty’s Brewery do not disclose buyers information to third parties. Cookies are used on this shopping site, but only to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart once you have selected an item.
Personal details, such as email addresses, postal codes and telephone numbers are held on our database to enable fulfilment of your order. These details are held in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and will not be shared with any other organisation unless required to do so by law. Data collected by this site is used to:
a. Take and fulfill customer orders
b. Administer and enhance the site and service

Returns Policy
We offer a full refund to all customers if goods turn out to be faulty or different from those ordered. Please check the condition of the goods on delivery and record any breakages on the courier's delivery note. We cannot offer a refund if you simply don't like the product, only if it is faulty. If there is a problem, please contact us via email, stating the nature of the problem and quoting your order number and personal details. Then please return the items to the address below.
Upon receipt of the items we will contact you within three working days to arrange refund or exchange (all refunds will be re-credited to the purchasing credit / debit card account - including any additional postage charges incurred).
Refunds will be credited back to your account upon receipt of the items. This process normally takes no more than two weeks.

Cancellation Rights
Customers have 7 days from the date of receiving goods in which to cancel any order. Goods must be returned unopened and undamaged, at customer's expense, and a refund, minus original despatch costs, will be issued within 7 days of good's return.
Nothing in these terms and conditions affects your legal statutory rights.
