Monty's Welsh Rarebit

Steak and Monty’s with herby dumplings

Monty’s Welsh Rarebit

 

Ingredients
4 thick slices of Bread from a large loaf
25g Butter
225g Mature Cheddar Cheese, grated
1 level tsp English Mustard
4-5 drops Tabasco Sauce
60ml. Monty’s Sunshine
Mixed salad and dressing to serve
Directions
Preheat the grill to hot. Remove the crusts from the slices of bread then toast on both sides until lightly browned.
Place the toasted bread in a shallow oven-proof dish and set aside.
Slowly melt the butter in a saucepan then stir in the grated cheese, mustard, Worcestershire sauce and the Monty’s Sunshine. Mix until well blended.
Divide the mixture between the slices of toast, spreading it evenly, then grill under a hot grill until bubbling and golden.
To serve - transfer to heated plates and serve with a lightly dressed salad.
